Race Wrap - R1 AEC

The Australian Endurance Championship 12 hours of Sebring is done and dusted, and after a long hard day of racing, there have been fortunes on either end of the scale for Fusion SimRacing.

The #100 FSR HPD battled hard to finish 2nd in Class A. Internet dramas in the middle of the race set #100 back a fair way, but all three drivers drove well to finish on the lead lap, even leading 25 laps at one point. The reigning champion car crossed the line less than 43 seconds behind the winning car of TTL with ERT completing the podium.

The #204 GT Omega Racing AU / NZ Daytona Prototype had less to celebrate. A glitch while pitting early on held the car in its box for four minutes, and then an internet dropout put the car further out of contention. The pit stop glitch remained, and the boys effectively called it a day. The car kept circulating regardless, and got to the end to see the chequered flag.

Monza is the next round - a 4-hour round at a track that's a little smoother than Sebring should suit us nicely!
