Race Wrap - ESCC R4

In what was a bizarre event that saw the use of two servers, the team were to restart a new race from where they left off in the 1st sever, it basically became a new race over just under 8 hours.

That didn't stop the team from letting go of its goals and after another win tonight, Its now 3 in a row for the 145 Fusion SimRacing HPD at round 4 of the ESCC Endurance Championship. 3 wins from the last 3 start, a phenomenal effort from all the team and drivers in the 145, they just keep this momentum going and are extending their lead.
A team effort more than ever with Heath and Josh doing lots of work on setup, tyre life and fuel economy. Unfortunately real life racing meant that Josh had to sit out the race, but that didn't stop him putting in the miles for the team. With the regular drivers on board, Craig, Rhys, Heath sharing the driver stints and all setting consistent laps throughout their stints. They got all the right calls with strategy and were always in the top 3 for majority of the race, bring it home for the a comfortable win.

In GT3, the 347 and 348 worked hard all week, but had some issues throughout the race, they might not have had the out right speed, but consistency through all the drivers was key to a great result. 347 battling for class win through the 8 hours against numerous different oppositions. The opposition falling away bar one team, our nemesis Pro Force Racing, who again sparked a great battle with us. A unfortunate incident saw the 347 have contact and loose the lead and gain some damage, the battle was over and we had to settle in for 2nd position....................again.
The 348 car had misfortunes all day, starting with computer issues for one driver, leaving them short and shuffling stints and personal duties throughout the race. Pit stop issues, SC issues were the name of the day for Rob and Eddy, but they did their thing and plugged away netting another great result, 6th and good points for the championship.

The teams are now on a break for about four weeks till round 5 at Le Mans, where the straights are fast, but the curves are menacing.

If you missed the action from today, you can catch all the race on replay here on RRTV broadcast.
