Its all on the line tonight, in a couple of hours time we head to Belgium and the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps. With the team already having some set backs (broken pedals), drivers had to remove themselves from the driving roster and last minute replacement drivers called in for duty. The team consisting of Andy, Alex, Blake, Craig, Heath, Rhys, Warren all driving and Scott doing the spotting, the boys are keen and eager to get the AWS BMW Z4 blasting around the track chasing a great result, hopefully a win or podium.

You can watch our live stream on YouTube. We will be using our live camera switching app, designed and built by our tech savvy team members (see link below).

Fusion SimRacing signs Blake Neck.

Towards the end of 2017, Blake took the privateer route for a few months, picking up a few team drives here and there and just enjoying his racing. Fusion SimRacing approached Blake, and we are very pleased to announce that both parties are happy with discussions and have finalized a deal to secure one of the most sought after drivers in the Australia and New Zealand community. FSR is very excited to welcome Blake Neck to the team.

After being told he wasn't allowed to do GT Academy because he was a P plater, Blake soon joined the iRacing platform around September 2015. His focus mainly GT & Endurance racing, Blake made a positive name for himself and was very quickly noticed by various teams throughout the ANZ community, eventually joining Evolution Racing Team.

Blake is the type of driver that knows what it takes to get results - persistence, patience and speed have provided him some great results including two championships in the RPR. Adding to that are some super stellar drives over the years, including win and podiums in VLN series, Australian Endurance Championship, Oceanic Endurance Championship, V8SCOPS and many iRacing official events.

Blake also brings to the team a new Supporting Partner, “Victorian Flagmarshalling Team”. The Flagmarshalling Team assists & support the growth and success of motor racing in Victoria through the provision of equipment and officials to circuit racing events. As a member of the VFT, you might see Blake waving the flag, marshalling duties etc around the circuits of Victoria or at events such as the Virgin Australia Supercars, Bathurst 12 hour and 1000 and the Melbourne F1 Grand Prix.

FSR is looking forward to having Blake as a team mate, working with each other to secure more podiums, wins and championships. Fielding two entries, Blake's first drive with the team will be this weekend as we embark on a trip to Daytona Beach, Florida, United States for iRacing’s Official Daytona 24.

We here at Fusion SimRacing pride ourselves for being clean, fair and hard racers. We have an extremely strong endurance lineup currently racing Prototypes, GTE and GT3 cars and we have won multiple endurance championships since the team was formed in 2016. We are now looking to expand our current V8 Supercars lineup by recruiting a small number of drivers.

At FSR it is not just about race pace. Yes we are looking for drivers who are very competitive, but we also value the culture we have built around inclusion and collaboration both on and off the track. Here, team fit is as important as pure pace, as is the ability to articulate positive and negative changes to a cars setup.

Are you a V8 Supercars driver who is looking for that next step up, wanting to join a top tier team and help us expand our V8 Supercars structure, take on a new challenge and aim for the silverware? If so, let us know by sending us an email [This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.] or Facebook message and tell us about you.

Thanks
Fusion SimRacing - Powered by AWS

It's that final part of the 2018 team launch and we are very excited to publicly launch our new war paint. A striking livery contrasts the traditional FSR purple and new AWS corporate shade of orange, a livery that looks fast sitting still. The new colour combinations, sponsors and supporting partners well and truly standing out.

Having new major sponsor AWS on board, their corporate colour draped over the car, taking pride of place. The update from the previous black, white and purple scheme to a fresh, clean white, AWS orange and not forgetting accents of FSR purple, the team feels the livery will offer a fantastic visual presence on track.

The team is very thankful to our returning sponsors Eclipse Signage and Dripping Paint Graffix, now in their second year with the team. Both sponsors are extremely pleased with how FSR has performed throughout the 2017 year and were more than happy to keep building on a fantastic partnership.

Dripping Paint Graffix once again was responsible for livery design and we are very thankful for the time and effort they have given. So, without further ado, we lift the covers off a few of FSR’s 2018 liveries.
