Today at FSR we are pleased and looking forward to our future in sim racing with the launch of our Development Program. What is the Fusion SimRacing Development Program (FSRDP) you might ask? Fusion SimRacing is very keen to develop sim racing in general, and assist with the development of drivers. Therefore we have established a Development Program to assist in this goal. The FSR Development Program is designed to assist inexperienced drivers of any age in developing their technical setup/engineering, race-craft and media skills. Our goal is to continue to develop talent, provide a stable future for the club and maintain a high calibre of drivers and individuals. We are excited to launch the Development Program and even more excited to release in the coming days news of our first driver into the program that we see a great future with. We look forward to hearing from any people interested in joining or simply knowing more. If you would like to find out more you can head to the website link below or PM us through the FSR Facebook page.

The year was 2016 and one balmy summers evening in mid-January the drivers at Dayco Motorsports and GT Omega Racing in household studies and 3rd bedrooms all across Australia were in a secret meeting to discuss the future.  A few hours later both teams merged (or fused) and Fusion SimRacing was born.

Later that year Stephens and Brennan would finish 2nd in the V8 Supercars Online Premier Series Bathurst 1000 which was a round in the V8SCOPS Endurance Cup.  Fast forward two years and we find ourselves on the eve of yet another VRS V8SCOPS Endurance Cup campaign with three FSR teams looking to take their Holden Commodore VF and Ford Falcon FG Supercars into battle.  Our pilots, Warren Pickering & Daryl Carter, Will Dodd & Andrew Gaines and Joshua Burdon & Alexander Bird are looking to qualify well for the first retro round at Imola.

To celebrate the retro round we have gone back to where it all started with our cars wrapped in a livery inspired by Fusion SimRacing's first ever paint job.  The colours may have changed to represent our awesome sponsors but the core livery remains the same.

A huge thanks to Amazon Web Services, Eclipse Signage and Dripping Paint Graffix.

Its been over 12 months since he raced the mighty blue and white wrapped Selby Racing cars, along the way he battled hard and fair within many hosted championships including the Australian Endurance Championship and SEK QLD GT3 Championship. He is well respected by his peers on and off the track and owns a very successful business that’s rivals Comic-Con.

Well he is back, back in the driver’s seat, ready and eager to get up the front and battle for the win, for podiums and championships. Only this time he is sporting the colours orange, purple and white.

That’s right Nathan Huppatz joins Fusion SimRacing, a great inclusion to the team, one FSR are very proud of securing.

Brock Cremer - Team President had this to say “It’s fantastic having Nathan on the team, driving with him, instead of battling against him. Nathan brings a wealth of race & championship podiums, wins, setup information and on your feet thinking with race strategy. We have already started working with Nathan and he has slotted into the family extremely well. He secured his first podium last night, we’re off to a great start. It’s awesome to have him with us.”

Its all on the line tonight, in a couple of hours time we head to Belgium and the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps. With the team already having some set backs (broken pedals), drivers had to remove themselves from the driving roster and last minute replacement drivers called in for duty. The team consisting of Andy, Alex, Blake, Craig, Heath, Rhys, Warren all driving and Scott doing the spotting, the boys are keen and eager to get the AWS BMW Z4 blasting around the track chasing a great result, hopefully a win or podium.

You can watch our live stream on YouTube. We will be using our live camera switching app, designed and built by our tech savvy team members (see link below).
